Yesterday was a cracking day with 5 suspicious cars identified and 4 Recovered the last three all in the space of one hour.
UPDATE 1: At 08:13, we received information that a car wanted in Benoni for house breaking had entered Edenvale in Sector 1. CPF and security companies began looking for the car. The car was soon spotted in the avenues by CPF and together with Mamba and SAPS the car was stopped and suspected detained. He was taken to Benoni and was arrested for housebreaking and the car impounded.
UPDATE 2: We received information of a possible stolen car in Sector 2. Once again Security and CPF began looking for the car. It was located by CPF at a business in Sector 2 and together with Mamba, CPG Security and CPF it was determined the driver was the owner of the car and his stolen car had been recovered but never removed from the stolen police data base.
UPDATE 3: We received info that a car wanted for assisting in stealing a car in Sunninghill was in Sector 2. We began searching and car was found again by CPF. Together with CPG Security and Mamba the car was cleared as it has since changed ownership and the new owner cannot be held responsible for crimes of the previous owner.
UPDATE 4: A suspicious car was picked up in Sector 3. A quick check revealed the car was travelling on false plates. The car was tracked down to one of the shopping centers with the help of Mamba, Top Security and CPF. SAPS were called and the suspect and car was taken to the Police station.
