Yesterday morning an alert went out on the Mamba security group and @ESRCAlert about a burglary in Granville.

The registration of the vehicle involved was entered into the Mamba number plate recognition system.
The same vehicle entered Edenglen around 11 last night and the camera triggered an alarm in the Mamba control room.  4 vehicles were immediately dispatched by Mamba, the vehicle was stopped in Harris Rd and the driver was arrested.  The vehicle was impounded and Mamba handed the driver over to SAPS.

Remember to always maintain a high level of awareness, especially when you are leaving or entering your home/driveway.  Please tell your family and domestic workers to also be on the lookout.  Report all suspicious behaviour to Mamba control room (tel number below) and warn the residents using @ESRCAlert.
