The Closure Committee would like to inform residents that, following on the resignation of Kim Johnson as Chairman, I have been elected to the role of this position. I am committed to this role and will perform this duty to the best of my ability until the next AGM.
We would like to thank Yegan Moopen of MEI Construction and Services for his generous donation of R4500 towards the replacement hut at gate 1. If there are any other businesses or individual residents who would like to assist with sponsoring the guard hut replacement project please get in touch with us.
We met with Christa Bester last night. Christa is the CPF Chair for our sector. We had a very productive meeting and amongst several items we discussed the CPF purpose, structure and in particular, the camera project. We agreed it was in the best interests of our community that the Committee and CPF work together to keep everyone informed about crime related issues and crime fighting initiatives. Hopefully more residents will become involved in the CPF and its projects. We would like to thank Belinda from Bass Audio Electronics for providing the meeting facilities.
After the AGM we received several offers of assistance from our residents. We have been able to form a sub-Committee to address issues related to declining revenue and trying to get more non-contributors to join up. The Committee would like to thank those residents who have volunteered for this duty and look forward to working with you, and all our residents, to achieve a positive outcome.
