Dear Residents There were two attempted break-ins this week, perpetrated by the same people – 3 BMs.These are currently under investigation by Mamba and SAPS.Thankfully nobody was injured and nothing was taken. It has come to our attention that there has been a lot of negative “chatter” regarding Mamba’s response to the incidents. As the Committee is always concerned about the efficiency of our chosen security service provider, a full investigation was undertaken.Mamba has provided us with the vehicle tracking logs, the phone call logs, audio clips of the phone calls and some other pertinent information. We can say UNEQUIVOCALLY that the Committee is satisfied that Mamba performed to the levels of expectation, and in one case, went above and beyond. We request that residents find out all the facts before spreading misinformation, which has happened in this case, thereby sewing the seeds of doubt in other residents’ minds. If you have any queries, please feel free to contact the Committee through this email channel and we will gladly assist in obtaining the facts. The Road Closure and Mamba will not be successful in achieving their goals of securing our neighbourhood if residents spread negative sentiment based on inaccurate information. This has highlighted yet again an ongoing problem which Mamba faces regularly and is always reminding us about. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE – we cannot emphasise this enough – CHECK YOUR ALARM SYSTEM AND PANIC BUTTONS REGULARLY.Call the Mamba Control Room and tell them that you want to set off your alarm intentionally, and BE SATISFIED that it is connected properly and in good working order. If you have had work done on your system, particularly by non-Mamba technicians, SATISFY YOURSELF that everything works before they leave your premises. The last thing you need to find out in an emergency situation is that your system isn’t working properly. Stay safe. The Committee

Remember to always maintain a high level of awareness, especially when you are leaving or entering your home/driveway.  Please tell your family and domestic workers to also be on the lookout.  Report all suspicious behaviour to Mamba control room (tel number below) and warn the residents using the Mamba Whatsapp Security Group.
